MoM official discuses labour-related matters with Sri Lankan minister

The director general at the Directorate General of Planning and Development and acting undersecretary for labour affairs in the Ministry of Manpower (MoM) received Sri Lanka’s deputy minister of foreign employment on Monday.

The meeting aimed at exchanging ideas and discussing Sri Lankan manpower in Oman which stands at 21,317, stated a press release.

The importance of providing training to employees before they arrive, and housemaids prematurely terminating their work without clear reasons were taken up for discussions. The ministry and Sri Lankan Embassy officials attended the meeting.
